ZONARIA Guitarist Comments On Upcoming Tour With MARDUK

November 26, 2007

Umeå, Sweden-based melodic death metal quartet ZONARIA has confirmed its participation in the Vanitas Balkans 2008 tour alongside Swedish black metallers MARDUK and IN BATTLE. ARTISAN will also appear on the bill.

Commented ZONARIA guitarist Emil Nyström: "We are really excited to hit the road with MARDUK and IN BATTLE, two cool bands from our country of Sweden. It'll be cool hitting the Balkans with those two plus ARTISAN. We did a short tour of the Balkans with IMPALED NAZARENE a few years ago and it was really fun, so we can't wait to get back and play over there as well as in Turkey and Greece for the first time ever! Will be a great tour! Also, we look forward to ending the trip in Berlin, where we had a great show with PAIN last month! See you all out at the venues headbanging! Be sure to drop by the merch stand after the shows to have some beers with us."

ZONARIA's debut album, "Infamy and The Breed", was released in September through Pivotal Rockordings. Audio samples are available on the band's MySpace page.

A live video of the song "Black Omen" from ZONARIA's recent concert in Ljubljana at Media Park with PAIN can be viewed below.
